Providing Non-Electrical Engineers with an understanding of Electrical Safety.
This course is in conjunction with TTE, Training for Industry.
Who is this Course for?
The course is aimed at non-electrical personnel who require an awareness of the dangers of electricity.
Main Objectives
This course provides a basic understanding of electrical safety and is to give non-electrical personnel an awareness of possible dangers associated with electricity.
At the end of the course you will:
- Understand the dangers of electricity
- Have an understanding of basic electrical theory
- Use appropriate testing equipment

- The Electricity at Work Regulations
- Electrical testing equipment
- Fuse characteristics
Experience Required
Trainees should possess a reasonable command of written and spoken English.
Certification
Successful delegates will receive a City & Guilds Certificate. Delivery will be a combination of classroom tuition and practical hands-on training.
Each candidate is required to demonstrate understanding through a 1 hour written, multi-choice question paper.
