Who is this Course for?
The course is aimed at practicing electricians with relevant experience and the previous 17th Edition 3rd Amendment qualification who are looking to develop or update their knowledge of the IEE Wiring Regulations.
Main Objectives
The course provides a complete overview of the current BS 7671 Regulations (including amendments) and is to help to gain a thorough understanding of the 18th Edition Regulations and successfully achieve the qualification.
At the end of the course you will be:
Conversant with the format, content and the application of BS 7671 : 2018 (18th Edition)
Aware of the purposes, structure and content of the IEE On-Site Guide and be able to use this in support of BS 7671.

Experience Required
Trainees should possess a reasonable command of written and spoken English. Previous knowledge of electrical principles is required. The course will refer to the BS 7671 Regulations and the On-Site Guide. These are available to use during the course or you may wish to bring your own copies.
Certification
Successful delegates will receive a City & Guilds Certificate. This course is classroom based and contains no practical work.
Each candidate is required to demonstrate understanding through a 2 hour, 60 question, open book, multi-choice on-line examination.
