Our Ignition SCADA training course is for anyone who is interested in working with Ignition SCADA on the shop-floor while being able to troubleshoot and make modifications to existing systems.

Upon completing the Ignition SCADA training course, you will able to work with live SCADA systems in industrial environments while not compromising safety or increasing production downtime when working on the shop-floor. Based around Ignition SCADA, we will walk through the software and the majority of its available programming features that are most used throughout SCADA designs on the shop-floor.

During your training, you'll have access to your own Scantime Training Manual. Each training manual includes interactive elements which are designed to help you stay engaged. These training manuals will be yours to take home, allowing you to refresh your new skill-set once you have completed our training course.

Certification

This training course includes examination periods throughout each day of training. We will also be including additional training time should anyone request further explanation of any topics covered.

Upon completion of this course you will receive an Official Scantime Training Certificate, this is proof that the learner has successfully completed a training course at Scantime who is a Recognised EAL Training Centre and has passed all of the assessments for the training course.

What experience is required?

We recommend completing our EAL Allen Bradley Industrial Maintenance & Fault Finding Pro 1&2 course to ensure you have an understanding of the Allen Bradley PLC as well as having an understanding of electrical principles.

What is the duration of the PLC training course?

This training course is a 2 day training course..

09.00 – 16.00

Will I receive certification upon completion?

Yes, at the end of the training week, you will be asked to complete an online assessment that covers topics from that week of training, this assessment helps count towards your certification and upon completion you will receive a certifcate of completion. This is proof that you have successfully completed a recognised training course at a Recognised Training Centre and have passed all of the assessments for the training course.

Will I be working with a real equipment?

Yes, the best way to learn is to learn with the real equipment. During our training courses, you will be connecting to live Ignition SCADA systems using Ignition SCADA software.

Can I attend as an individual?

Yes, these courses are available to anyone willing to learn, whether that is through a company or as an individual.

What is the maximum number of trainees per training course?

As PLC/HMI training is a complex subject, we try to keep our class sizes to a maximum of 4 trainees per course, allowing each learner to ask their own questions and to feel comfortable in the classroom without being over-shadowed by others.

Step 7 lvl 1&2 course has great content. Really helpful for understanding step 7 basic capabilities with some expansion into more complex features. Completed the Siemens TIA fault finding course, it was a breath of fresh air to do a course which was actually relevant to my job and had plenty practical techniques which I could easily implement to make fault finding easier at work. Just completed courses 1 and 2 with Scantime. Excellent delivery by the Engineers who have numerous years of experience across all industries and sectors. I'd already covered PLC's at University, but this was more useful in industry. They learn you how to use the vast array of tools within the PLC to quickly fault find, thereby reducing downtime. I took the Siemens Step 7 Professional Programming (Modules 1&2) e-learning course. In my opinion it is a great course to learn the Step 7 software basics in an easy and understandable way. You only will learn the most important aspects. I think once you finish the course you will be able to develop your skills by yourself.
