Who is this Course for?
The course is aimed at candidates who have a responsibility to set and control a system in order to maintain electrical equipment. The candidate does not have to be a practising electrician, but will have a good understanding of electricity and electrical theory and practices.
Main Objectives
The course covers the theory and also an insight into practical ‘Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment’ focusing mainly on legislative parts of the Code of Practice. On completion of the course, successful trainees should be able to undertake basic testing and maintain records to satisfy the ‘Electricity at Work Regulations’.
At the end of the course you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of:

This course is classroom based and the course will be assessed by a 105 minute, open-book, multi-choice on-line examination.
