Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
- By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. The competition is organised by Scantime Engineering Limited, located at 7-8 Delta Bank Road, Metro Riverside Park, Gateshead, NE11 9DJ.
2. Eligibility
- This competition is open to all visitors of the Maintech exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham on June 5th and 6th, 2024.
- Employees of Scantime Engineering Limited, their family members, or anyone else connected in any way with the competition shall not be permitted to enter.
3. How to Enter
- To enter the competition, visitors must visit Scantime Engineering Limited’s stand (D10) at the Maintech exhibition.
- Entrants must have their badge scanned at the stand to participate.
- Only one entry per person is allowed.
4. Competition Period
- The competition will run from 9:30 AM on June 5th, 2024, to 4:00 PM on June 6th, 2024.
5. Prize
- The prize is a Lego NASA Artemis Space Launch System 10341.
- The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
- Scantime Engineering Limited reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
- The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the competition period.
- The winner will be announced and notified via email or phone within 7 days after the competition ends.
- If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, Scantime Engineering Limited reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
7. Personal Data
- Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
- By entering the competition, entrants agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Scantime Engineering Limited accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting the prize.
- Scantime Engineering Limited is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, or software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines, or at any website.
9. General
- Scantime Engineering Limited reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the company’s control.
- Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the company.
10. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
