Train the Trainer Coming soon

As industry moves towards intelligent automation and shop-floors phase out outdated PLC hardware and controls gear, the need for today’s engineers to understand PLCs is more business critical than ever.

Our Train the Trainers course has been designed and developed exclusively for Scantime by our Director of Education, Professor John Lockey. Working with schools, colleges and universities throughout the UK, John is furthering our role within the educational sector.

An electrical and electronic engineer with experience across a range of industrial and academic roles, John has worked extensively across the marine, electronics and microelectronics sectors.

The 4-day Train the Trainer course will give academic tutors the skills they need to teach students how to work with the PLCs seen in today’s industries.

“We’re helping academic tutors to deliver PLC training within educational establishments. Preparing engineers for the realities of the shop-floor and complementing what we offer at an industrial level.”
