Terms of Sale of eLearning Courses
Overview
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the eLearning courses provided by Scantime Training Ltd (“Scantime”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing and/or accessing our eLearning courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@scantime.co.uk.
1. Payment
1.1 Payment for eLearning courses must be made in full before access to the course is granted.
1.2 Once payment is successfully received, the course materials will be made accessible via the online portal assigned to you.
1.3 All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are subject to VAT where applicable.
1.4 Scantime reserves the right to change course prices without notice. However, the price communicated at the time of your purchase will remain valid for that transaction.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 A 30-day refund period is applicable for eLearning courses.
2.2 Refund requests made within 30 days of the payment date will be eligible for a full refund, provided no more than 20% of the course content has been accessed.
2.3 Refunds will not be granted if more than 20% of the course content has been accessed.
2.4 Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to hello@scantime.co.uk or by post to: Scantime Training Ltd, 7&8 Delta Bank Road, Metro Riverside Park, Gateshead, NE11 9DJ.
2.5 Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Users must ensure that the login credentials for their online portal remain confidential. Sharing access to eLearning course materials is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Course materials are intended for personal use only. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the course content without prior written consent from Scantime.
3.3 Users must ensure they have reliable access to the necessary technology, such as a compatible device and internet connection, to participate in the eLearning course.
3.4 Scantime reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to a course without refund if any misuse or breach of these Terms is identified.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 All course materials, including but not limited to videos, text, images, and downloadable resources, are the exclusive intellectual property of Scantime Training Ltd.
4.2 Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the eLearning course content for their own learning purposes.
4.3 Any unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution of course materials is strictly prohibited and will result in legal action.
5. Limitations of Liability
5.1 Scantime provides eLearning courses on an “as is” basis. While we strive to ensure the information is accurate and up-to-date, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness or fitness-for-purpose of the course content.
5.2 Scantime shall not be held liable for any technical interruptions, loss of data, or other issues beyond our reasonable control that may limit your access to the course.
5.3 Scantime’s total liability, whether arising from breach of contract, negligence, or any other cause, shall not exceed the amount paid for the course in the 12 months preceding the claim.
5.4 Nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited as a matter of law.
6. Modifications
6.1 Scantime reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users via their registered contact information. Continued use of our eLearning services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
